Theft of sushi safe goes nowhere
Three men tried to rob a safe from a sushi restaurant yesterday morning, but they didn't get very far. Entering the restaurant, they told employees they had some work to do, but then grabbed a small safe from behind the front counter and headed back out to the street, brandishing a gun and hefting a safe.
Next time they should bring along a getaway car: They tried to escape by hailing a taxi cab. But no cabs would stop, so they dropped the safe and ran off.
