1 Bear on 4 Wheels
"A 21-year-old man riding an all-terrain vehicle on a Queens highway was critically injured yesterday after he ran a red light, hit a car and flew off his machine, police said."
Well yeah, that'll happen. Highways are for cars (and motorcycles, I guess) and red lights are for people who enjoy their health. Oh, and he wasn't wearing a helmet.
That said, any time I hear stories about 4-wheelers, I think of Bears on Wheels, one of my favorite books as a tot. Man, I'd read that book over and over. Assuming I've had a few drinks, I can recite it on cue.
