Man's false claim: I'm Rice's bodyguard
"A Brooklyn man was arrested at police headquarters Wednesday after he submitted a gun permit application falsely claiming to be a bodyguard for National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice, officials said."
This guy is a loon.
"Sherwin Sandy, 36, of 749 E. 46th St., submitted a gun permit application on June 16 that included employment papers saying he worked for the National Security Agency, police said. Sandy was even able to provide a White House phone number on his application that turned out to be one of Rice's private lines.
"The application license division contacted the Secret Service and found out that there was a case against Sandy concerning threats he had made, according to police. The Secret Service had not been specific about who Sandy made the threats against."
