Can Subway Bombings be Prevented?
Rather than link to any stories for this post, I'll just ask a simple question. Is there anything that can be done to prevent subway bombings? If there is, I don't know what it is. I've spent the last few days thinking about it and I've come up blank. Cops on the platform. No, I don't think so. Some tech solution? Ha, no. Increased "vigilance" among passengers? I don't really know what that means, but maybe. Creating a global climate that reduces the urge to turn towards "terrorism." Easier typed than done. Who knows.
