Sex predator may still be out there
"A warning to New Yorkers: The highly publicized arrest of a Queens man in a string of sexual assaults and robberies on the Upper East Side in late January apparently was a case of mistaken identity -- meaning the perpetrator may be free to strike again."
So what happened? "A law enforcement source said DNA from saliva found on a victim's shirt did not match White's. As for the other three attacks, White has 'really good alibis,' the source said." all four victims identified this guy in the line-ups.
Says one UES resident: "'This is crazy,' he said. 'We were feeling safe when they caught him and now this? I'm scared.'"
Original post on this. I thought they got the right guy.
