Man Charged With Stealing Over $35,000 in MetroCards
"A worker who maintained ticket vending machines for the Long Island Rail Road was charged yesterday with stealing more than $35,000 worth of MetroCards from them, a spokesman for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority said."
See. This bothers me. When the MTA folks collect money from the MetroCard machines, they have giant guys with guns standing there so no one tries any funny business. But this dude managed to snag $35,000 worth of cards? Perhaps the gun guys should turn around. SubText on those gun guys. I like that. Gun guys. Makes them less threatening.
