Thief Stabs Man With Needle
"A man at a pay phone in Harlem early Thursday was accosted by a thief who stole his laptop computer and jabbed him three times with a hypodermic needle, police said."
A show of hands if you think that a needle is more frightening than a gun. Yes, my hand is up in the air. Call me crazy, but disease just seems much scarier than bullet wounds. It has to do with the uncertainty of it all. You get shot, you look down, you see blood. Shit, I've been shot. Totally different with needles. Sure, they test you right away, but you have to go back again and again to make sure you're clean. Like I said... uncertainty.
