"A robber demanding money on a 2 train slashed a passenger yesterday. And it happened at about 1PM, as the train was arriving at the West 72nd Street stop."
Also, two comments from Gothamist readers noting how dangerous / scary the train can be in the afternoon once students are let out. I can't agree more. It's downright frightening sometimes. As I've mentioned before on ScaryNY, if you ever feel uncomfortable on a train for whatever reason, your best bet is to get off the train. Seat be damned.
