Machete "Mugger" from Family of Mob Killers
"A suspect nabbed last week for committing 10 Brooklyn muggings in 61 minutes is the son of a convicted murderer and related to two mob killers who were rubbed out after bungling a Mafia hit by mistakenly killing a judge, The Post has learned."
The story goes on to explain, "Between 5:56 a.m. and 6:57 a.m. Thursday, the younger Carini - who was a toddler when his father was sent up the river - and Opperisano drove through Bergen Beach, Sheepshead Bay and Gravesend in a white van, approaching strangers and threatening them with either a machete or a bat, police said."
Machetes are really scary. When I was a kid, a friend of mine who was a little nuts used to have one. We'd walk through thick brush in the woods and he'd whack the shit out of things. I always made every effort to be nice to that kid.
