Two Jamaica men guilty in pushing LIC prostitution

"Two Jamaica men were convicted last week of promoting prostitution in Long Island City in an ongoing effort by law enforcement officials, said Queens District Attorney Richard Brown."

Ok, that's all well and good, but check this out:

"Both men were arrested after a seven-month investigation by the Police Department's Intelligence Division and the DA's Special Proceedings Bureau as part of an anti-prostitution enforcement initiative focused on Queens Plaza in Long Island City, Brown said."

7 months? I guess it was like this:

Undercover cop: "Yeah, Sarge. I asked this guy where to go, he pointed to a girl, I gave her money and she had sex with me."

Sarge: "Great. Good work. Book him."

Undercover cop: "I think I should go one more time just to be sure."

Sarge: "Good thinking."

Undercover cop: "Mind if I call a few friends in the DA's Special Proceedings Bureau? They could really use a good fuc.., er, investigation."

Scene repeats for 7 months.
