Jewels Stolen, Officers Say, With
Jewels Stolen, Officers Say, With a Hand From Inside
"When the police responded to an alarm at a jewelry store in Harlem on Saturday night, they found 16-year-old Farj Zaibak bound hand and foot with tape and $150,000 worth of jewelry missing, police officials said yesterday."
Ok, whatever. Not important. Instead, I'd like to focus on this one line from the story:
"Jou Jou is Farj's nickname, and the shop, which sells jewelry, gold teeth and cellular phones, typically stays open until 7:30 or 8 p.m. on Saturdays, the family said."
Did I read that right? I can get a pinky ring, a new tooth with my initials engraved in it and a Treo 600 all under one roof? As Yakov Smirnoff used to say, "I love America!"
